The Constitution of the Airsoft Association of British Columbia
The name of the Society is AIRSOFT ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH COLUMBIA The purposes of the Society are:

To facilitate a democratic organization dedicated to promoting the legitimacy of the sport of Airsoft;

To act as an educational resource to the general public for all matters relating to the sport of Airsoft;

To liaise with various agencies & officials developing & interpreting laws pertaining to the sport of Airsoft on behalf of the members of the Association;

To develop & maintain a strict code of ethics around the safe use and storage of Airsoft equipment Association members will agree to abide by;

To develop & maintain a set of practices, including a code of ethics, which Airsoft fields, Airsoft facilities and Airsoft player groups will be encouraged to adopt whether or not they are members of the Association;

To develop & maintain a set of standards regarding the purchase & sale of Airsoft equipment which individuals and businesses will be encouraged to adopt whether or not they are members of the Association;

To develop & maintain a set of standards regarding the promotion of the Airsoft sport which individuals and businesses will be encouraged to adopt whether or not they are members of the Association;

To encourage, and where possible facilitate, friendly Airsoft competitions between player groups at various facilities across regions;

To operate the organization as a non-profit Association;

To provide a transparent, safe, friendly, supportive and secure environment for Association members; and

To raise funds and accept donations to facilitate the Association's purpose. No director or officer shall be remunerated for being or acting as a director or officer, but a director or officer may be reimbursed for all expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred by him or her while engaged in the affairs of the corporation.
This society is a member-funded society. It is funded primarily by its members to carry on activities for the benefit of its members. On its liquidation or dissolution, this society may distribute its money and other property to its members
